Coaching for Employment and Entrepreneurship (C4EE) Morocco
The project aims to provide young people with vulnerable backgrounds and especially women in Morocco with opportunities for productive self-employment. Thanks to a tailor-made coaching program, they are supported in their integration into the labour market and become empowered to create resilient livelihoods for themselves.
In cooperation with local stakeholders, Swisscontact has introduced an innovative and proven coaching methodology based on the promotion of four core competences: self-competences as well as social, professional and methodological competences. The uniqueness of the coaching cycle lies in the combination of different training components and the elaboration of an individual development plan for the participants. Additionally, the cycle is designed to empower marginalised individuals by addressing different stages of the labor insertion process. By also training local master coaches, who will in turn train new coaches for the cycle, a self-sustaining system will be established. The methodology was developed by Swisscontact and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
Project goals:
- Young women and men have improved access to supportive services
- Participants receive advice and guidance on labour market opportunities
- The methodology of the coaching cycle is anchored with local partner institutions
- Coaches are trained to carry out the coaching cycle
- Master coaches are trained to provide training for coaches
