Plenitud de vida - A better life for children, young people and women from disadvantaged families in Ecuador

13 of the 24 provinces of Ecuador/Ecuador

This comprehensive project supports children, youth, women and families affected by extreme poverty and gender-based violence.

With support from the Ursula Zindel-Hilti Foundation, a strong network of partner organizations works to enable particularly vulnerable families to access fundamental rights. Targeted measures in the areas of food security and ecological agriculture, education, peacebuilding, income generation and institutional strengthening open sustainable prospects for a dignified and self-determined life. Girls and women receive protection from gender-based violence as well as professional training and support in building their own sources of income. Scholarships enable 370 young people to access higher education and vocational training, who subsequently volunteer in their communities. In addition, an international volunteer program promotes intercultural exchange and solidarity between continents and different social groups.

This comprehensive network extends across 13 of Ecuador's 24 provinces and reaches 6,649 direct beneficiaries as well as 12,452 indirect beneficiaries. Through coordinated cooperation between partner organizations, valuable synergies emerge that maximize project success.
