The Ursula Zindel-Hilti Foundation supports the Concordia Day Care Center "Sveti Konstantin" in Sofia since 2017.
The target group for day care are children at risk of poverty and socially disadvantaged children and adolescents. The children come almost exclusively from the nearby Roma neighborhoods, the Mahalas, and are picked up from there by a minibus, if required, to ensure regular participation in the Day Center's program.
The capacity is up to 50 children.
In the day center, the children are cared for by a social-pedagogical team and carefully guided to a "normal" everyday life with a regulated school attendance. This is done with the involvement of the parents, as the family work in the sense of a holistic approach is given great importance.
